Jessica Nelson is a Principal at First In, where she partners with founders building the next generation of security technology companies. Since beginning her venture capital career in 2021, she has led investment diligence, managed limited partner relationships, and advised founders.

Prior to her venture capital career, Jessica worked at a family office managing an angel investment portfolio.

Jessica graduated from the University of New Hampshire's Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, where she studied entrepreneurship and led the Rines Fund, an angel investment group. Jessica started as an entrepreneur owning her own ice cream boat business.
